I love the Technologies of Participation, and I am trying to be as good a facilitator as our leader, Kevin Balm. I am a retired professor of intercultural communication at Sapporo Gakuin University. I have a family of four in Ebetsu, Hokkaido and one of my sons is learning facilitation in the ICA in Chicago. I do SDG development education programs in Kenya, Indonesia, and Thailand. My hobbies are sports, gym training, baking bread, and gardening. I also love hot springs! I know a little Hokkaido Ainu language, "Irankarapute". It means, "Hello" or more exactly "I touch your heart softly."

I was born in Wisconsin, which has many dairy cows like Hokkaido.       I build Moodle training courses in open source websites.

Self Introductions

by Norika Rivera -

ICA Japan

Hello everyone. My name is Norika Rivera.

I'll participate as an intern of ICA Japan.

I'm from the Philippines, and I've been living in Japan ever since I was little. I'm a 2nd grade university student and I learn Spanish. I love listening to music and eating.☻

I made it a point to bring smiles to the faces of those around me for peace.  I would like to further cultivate a spirit of helping anyone around me who is in need in the future.

The reason why I participated this intern is that I've been intrested in International jobs which wanted me to have that  experience. Also, I wanted to improve my Japanese and English vocabulary by doing facilitation..
